DIY Skin Bleaching

Skin lightening is not only done by those who want to change their skin color. Those who want to make their skin have an even tone can also do it. There are many products on the market that one can use to achieve this. However, here is a list of the DIY skin bleaching agents that one can use to get that perfect skin tone they want.

One of the factors causing an uneven skin tone is having dry skin. Besides helping with bleaching, honey is also a moisturizer. It also has antibacterial properties, which help to fade acne scars as well as aging spots. The honey is applied to the face then washed off with warm water after fifteen minutes. This will go a long way in helping to get rid of dead skin, making a face brighter. This is done once daily.

One can also make a bleaching mask by mixing the honey with a tablespoon of lemon juice, milk powder, and almond oil. The mask is left on for fifteen minutes then washed off with water.

Lemons are acidic that are rich in vitamin C as well as antioxidants. The acid helps in bleaching while vitamin c helps in growth of new cells. The antioxidants help with having a good skin complexion. One uses fresh lemon to make the juice to be used. A cotton ball is dipped in juice then applied directly to the face. One can also apply a piece of the lemon directly on the skin then left for at least one hour. This will help prevent scars from forming on your face as well as lighten the skin.

The lemon juice may be mixed with turmeric powder. One may also combine the juice with powdered milk then apply it on the face. One should also note that the if the juice is used to the face, there would be some pain if there are any open wounds.

Yogurt has multiple nutrients needed by the skin. Among them is lactic acid, which helps in bleaching. The yogurt is rubbed gently on the skin then washed off after a few minutes. One can also add honey to the yogurt for an improved skin tone.

Oranges have plenty of vitamin c besides having bleaching properties. One can mix orange juice with turmeric powder. The orange should be applied to the face, and then washed after thirty minutes. Alternatively, one can grind orange peels into powder then add it to yogurt to make a paste that is then applied to the face. This should be done only once in a week.
